It is my business to holistically re-introduce sustainable and functional movement to your body in order to help you live your life more efficiently.
I originally graduated from Mueller College of Holistic Studies in San Diego, California in 2001. I apprenticed under my father Dennis Prescott for 2 years. I returned to massage school in fall of 2014, graduating from ASIS Massage School in February of 2015. I am now part of the Simpatico Healing Arts family and I will be working out of that office full time.
10 years ago I started my athletic journey in the form of Mixed Martial Arts. This journey gradually evolved from MMA to Jiu Jitsu and then eventually CrossFit. Once my fitness adventure began, it became very apparent to me how precious being an athlete was to me. I fully understand how frustrating an injury can be when all you want to do is get back on the road, on the bike, in the gym, back on the mats, or whatever the sport may be. My goal is to get you back to do what you do best by doing what I do best. And that's help you regain your most basic human right of movement.
In order to accomplish the aforementioned goals, I use Kelly Starrett’s Mechanism for Injury to determine the incomplete mechanics that caused the injury. I then use modalities such as Functional Cupping Therapy, Connective Tissue Therapy, and Neuromuscular Therapy to treat the injury. Once the injury has been treated, we use Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization and my knowledge of various functional movements to make sure that the injury doesn’t happen again.
